Automatism Research Kinetic Painting, 2019
This is an attempt to try a modern interpretation of Automatism, which is known as a technique used by some of the Dadaist artists. Random pattern selection, random X and Y axes, random size values, and random direction values can all be determined using coding. four random variables are affected by one action of pressing a key on the keyboard and are input on a black background. Accordingly, the will of the participant is involved only in the act of entering letters, and everything from the pattern extraction process to the creation of the final image is done randomly.
There are three attempts to get rid of the will. To make an irregular pattern, first scatter white paint on black paper and fold it in several directions. Second, from among the patterns, a pattern is randomly extracted without any rules. Third, coding is created using the 'Processing' after extracting as many patterns as the number of keys on the keyboard.
